Introduction
There was a pioneering spirit when
Dr Ridgeway bought premises in the High Street in order to open up a
local surgery for the residents of Hanham in 1934.
My
understanding is that he was a tough man, no easy time off from
working at the Coach Works opposite, but generous with patients
telling me he would give children rides in his car, a machine that
not many people owned.
That spirit has not been lost. We are
always looking for new ways of developing the surgery in order to
provide good care for our patients. This website was developed by
the practice, it is an innovation developed to give you easily
accessible information about the practice from clinic times to
historic milestones and useful hints on the management of minor
illnesses to updates on holiday vaccination
requirements.
This is a new and exciting project and we hope
you will find it valuable
